Internships and Career Opportunities wanted in Chicago
Last summer, Colorado
College joined the Selective
Liberal Arts Consortium (SLAC) to provide more job and internship
opportunities to CC students. Based on our students’ success
with those events, we are pleased to announce that we have added
Chicago to the list of cities in which our students may participate!
SLAC
will be in Chicago on December 5, 2008
If
you or your company would like to participate on December 5, please
contact Geoff Falen
in the Career
Center as soon as possible at Geoff.Falen@ColoradoCollege.edu
or 719-389-6424.
This
is an excellent way to support Colorado College students and the
Career Center in our efforts to expand the nature and reach of both
our on- and off-campus recruiting activities
SLAC
(www.slaconsortium.org)
is comprised of 14 selective liberal arts schools that pool their
resources and make outreach efforts to employers to offer cost-effective
face-to-face access to top-quality liberal arts candidates. As part
of CC's "buy-in" to the program, we are required to bring
new employers to each event in which we are active.
If
SLAC programs do not currently fit your organization's recruiting
needs, please pass this information and request along to other CC
alumni, friends of the College, or others you feel may benefit from
this program.
Of
course, you may always contact us at the Career Center to set up
on-campus interviewing, participate in the on-campus career fair,
or conduct virtual recruiting for other job and internship needs
that may fall outside of the SLAC program and timetable.

Center website
