Class Of 1959 - Here We Come!

Your 50th Class Reunion Committee met in Colorado Spring on Feb 20-21, 2009 to plan a fantastic homecoming reunion for all of us. You will see the list of scheduled activities below. This reunion is a time to get together with old friends, classmates, fraternity brothers and sorority sisters and a real plus for us, some of our late-50’s vintage professors. We have arranged for some delightful meals and additional group activities beyond the standard all-school homecoming events.

Mark your calendars now. Email or call the Alumni Office to let us know you are coming. It helps us plan. We are going to try and set a 50th class attendance record. With your critical participation and support, we are confident of outstanding success.

The committee wants to thank you for your loyal support for our CC Class of ‘59 as well as for Colorado College. We need you there “in the Springs” to share in the fun and the joys of graduating into the 50 Year Club and supporting our alma mater.

We will not be complete without your presence otherwise we will have all the fun.

1:00pm, Tour of the Olympic Training Center (Depart from CC Library at 12:15pm, stop at Antlers Hilton at 12:30pm and then on to the OTC by 12:45. One hour tour starting at 1 p.m. Return to campus by 1:45pm)

Friday, October 9
10:15am, Fifty Year Club Induction Ceremony rehearsal, Shove Memorial Chapel
11:00am, Fifty Year Club Induction Ceremony, Shove Memorial Chapel
2:00pm, Campus Tour, Begins at Cutler Hall (golf carts available)
6:00pm, 50th Reunion Dinner and Tiger Hockey, Wigand Room (World Arena)

Saturday, October 10
11:00am, Alumni Association Awards, Shove Chapel
11:00am - 1:00pm, All-Campus Picnic: Armstrong Quad Tent
1:00pm, 50th Reunion Class Photo (West of Cutler Hall)
6:00pm, 50th Reunion Reception & Dinner, Antlers Hilton
8:00pm - 1:00am, Homecoming Dance: Armstrong Quad Tent (Live band from 8pm – 10pm and disc jockey from 10pm – 1am)

Sunday, October 11
10:00am - 12:00pm, Homecoming Weekend Farewell Brunch, Bemis Great Hall
