Your Time on Campus

Information sessions
Information sessions are offered Monday through Friday for most of the year; however, from January through March, no afternoon sessions are held. We have Saturday morning information sessions September through November.

Campus tours
We offer campus tours every day Monday through Friday, plus Saturdays in the fall. Student volunteers lead tours and give their impressions of campus life.

Interviews
We will offer interviews on campus from June through January. Please call the main admission number to make an appointment.

Class visits
We offer the opportunity to visit a class and we will be happy to arrange this. Under our Block Plan most classes begin in the morning so you need to be on campus by 8:30 a.m. to visit a class. Beginning in late March, we have large numbers of admitted students on campus and are therefore unable to offer this opportunity to juniors. We require reservations at least a week in advance for class visits and we do our best to match you with a department in one of your areas of interest. This opportunity is available only to the student -- due to space and availability restrictions parents may not attend.

Overnight stays
Seniors or transfer can stay overnight in the residence halls with a student host for one night, Sunday through Thursday from mid-September through April. Unfortunately, because so many high school seniors request overnight visits, we are not able to accommodate juniors. Reservations for on-campus overnights must be made at least two weeks in advance. We are unable to offer overnights on Friday and Saturday nights, or during the week of block breaks.

Other requests
You might want to schedule an appointment with someone outside of the admission office while you are on campus. The financial aid office representatives are happy to meet with you, or we can put you in contact with professors or coaches so you can arrange those meetings directly.
