Group Visits

We encourage high school groups to visit campus throughout the year! In keeping with our priority of serving high school student visitors on campus, we rarely approve requests from elementary and middle school groups due to the taxing resources needed to host an enjoyable and informative visit.

Special Group Visit Guidelines

The Block Plan necessitates a schedule that is very different from most other schools. Since most of our classes meet in the mornings, our student guides are usually unavailable because they are in class. Therefore, we are most flexible to accommodate visits on weekday afternoons.

Generally, we are not able to accommodate groups in the morning during the school year, over the weekend, during campus breaks, or during Block Breaks. All high school groups will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Please see below for a list of preferred visit dates.

Scheduling your visit

Given our small student enrollment, we are limited in what we can offer to a group of visiting students. In general, we provide groups of around 20-40 visitors an information session and a campus tour. Requests from groups with more than 40 visitors will be considered for approval based on tour guide and meeting space availability.

To schedule a special group visit and for special group visit requests, please email Amy Lareau at least three weeks prior to the desired visit date, and include the following information in the body of the message:

  • Students’ years of graduation
  • Number of students
  • Number of staff or parents accompanying students
  • Date and time requested for your visit
  • Any other special accommodations requested

Parking

Group buses should park in lot #E1 on the east side of campus (see map below). Smaller vehicles may park in any designated visitor space on campus (some of which are near Cutler Hall). When you check in at the admission office, we will provide a daily parking pass. Limited street parking is also available; some areas are metered, some are not.
