BreakOut-Canyonlands!
Tabitha Hrynick taking a break from the hard work with Meg ReamerOne of the service trips heading out first block break was to the Canyonlands of Utah. The trip focused on supplying water to trail maintenance crews working in the”Island in the Sky” District, about 40 minutes outside Moab.
The work consisted of carrying 50lbs of water in a wheelbarrow across two and a half miles of Canyonlands terrain in order to reach the area where the trail maintenance crews were working.

The group of nine females also traveled into an area of Arches called the Fiery Furnace where they were able to do more community service and see the beautiful landscape Utah has to offer. “I’m proud to say I was one of the leaders of the trip because we had a great, cohesive group. Everyone expected to do work, but also expected to have fun.”
