Interviews in Austin

Colorado College will interview high school seniors and transfer students. While interviews are optional, they will be used in the evaluation of an application for those students who interview, while also providing students with the opportunity to meet with and talk to an admission officer one-on-one.

Anna Jaquez-Herron, Assistant Director of Admission, will conduct interviews in Austin on October 18th, 2008. A limited number of appointments will be available. Interviews will last 30 to 45 minutes.

First year applicants: the deadline to request an alumni interview in your area has passed. Please note that interviews are not required for admission. Interviews will continue on campus through the month of January.

Transfer applicants (for the March 1st deadline) must request an interview by February 15th, 2009 and have completed their interview by February 28th, 2009. We make every effort to match students with alumni in their local area, but cannot guarantee an interview.

THE DEANS OF ADMISSION of eight nationally recognized colleges invite you and your parents to a reception. Each of these highly selective residential colleges has something distinctive to offer. As a group, they place great value on student-faculty interaction, small classes, and challenging curricula. These colleges send a high percentage of graduates on to graduate and professional schools, and count among their alumnae/i leaders in virtually every field.

The program will include presentations on admission, financial aid, and each of the colleges. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
