Daniel Fahey

ACM/Mellon Post-Doc

Dan Fahey is an ACM Mellon Post-Doc for 2011-13. While at Colorado College, Dan is teaching African Politics (2011), War and the Environment (2011), International Development (2012), International Relations of Sub-Saharan Africa (2012), Contemporary African Conflicts (2013), and Rebel Groups of the World (2013). He has conducted research and worked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Sudan. Since 2005, Dan has spent approximately two years in central Africa, and written numerous reports and articles about issues including gold mining, development, and armed conflict. In addition to Colorado College, he has taught at Deep Springs College, UC Berkeley, and San Francisco State University. Dan has a PhD from UC Berkeley, a Master's degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA from the University of Notre Dame.
