Students enrolled in the Vocal Studio are encouraged to audition at the beginning of each semester. Contact Dan Fosha or Ann Brink to learn when auditions will be held.
The students of the vocal program at Colorado College prepare two music theatre productions each year. The program is co-directed by principal vocal instructor Victoria Hansen and vocal instructor Ann Brink, and musical directed by pianist Dan Brink. Each fall semester the department performs a musical, in the past we have performed such shows as Promises Promises, Lucky Stiff, and much more. In the Spring Semester the department performs a chamber opera work or opera selection piece. In the past shows such as Trial by Jury, Blue Monday and Candide have been performed. The Vocal Studio strives to make these shows an all inclusive and rewarding experience, contributing to the strong network the department helps to foster between vocal performers of all skill levels at the college.
