Sandy came to the college in August 1989 to work for Facilities which was known then as the Physical Plant.  She held a part time secretarial position typing (and yes, on a typewriter) work orders then moved on in 1990 to the History Department.  Sandy enjoys the work she does for the department and faculty, and she loves the interaction with students.  She also serves as wedding coordinator for Shove Chapel.   She has been a member of the Re-classification Committee for staff position upgrades, the College Grievance Committee and the Sustainability Committee.

Sandy looks forward to travelling especially cruises, enjoys gardening and home decorating.  After age sixty, she became a blonde and is sporting a flower tattoo above her right ankle.
