Theodore Lindeman
Professor
Research Summary
I am interested in investigating spectroscopic or kinetic or materials-science questions, including those which may require some creative apparatus and methods development. Examples include laser experiments to study chemical behavior of excited species, studies of gas-phase reactions of atmospheric importance, and investigations of oscillating or pattern-forming reactions. Also I invest considerable effort in developing course labs and chemical demonstrations, which I use in earnest in nearly every class.
