
Field Trips
The Art Department sponsors a number of off-campus field studies for senior art majors.
Field Trips include opportunities in conjunction with art courses, such as a studio class going off campus to draw or photograph the landscape, or for art students to view original works of art around the world. These exciting trips allow students, faculty and staff to see noteworthy exhibitions and experience cultural environments.

The New York Trip
The 2012 CC Art Department Senior Seminar trip to New York City was a great success as students and faculty enjoyed spectacular sights and venues; and the timing was simply amazing as the trip concluded only days before Hurricane Sandy came ashore, bringing damaging storm surges into the very areas the CC group had just visited.
