Terry Freeman
Curator of Visual Resources
Terry serves in the Visual Resource Center as the Curator of Visual Resources and has worked in the VRC/Slide Library since 1988. She enjoys working with the faculty and students in a supportive role and is eager to assist faculty, students, and staff with their teaching, presentations, and various projects.
Terry has B.A. in Art History from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (1986, after twenty-one years and five schools between babies) and an M.A. in Art History and Museum Work from the University of Denver (1988). She worked in the Slide Library during graduate school, which she feels was an excellent introduction to the career field.
Terry moved with her husband and four children to the Pikes Peak Region from California in 1981, was a stay-at-home mom, and raised her children in the Black Forest. Major interests away from work include making “stuff” (especially all kinds of needlework, jewelry, dollhouse miniatures and doll clothes), conducting Gran & Pa’s summer camp for the grandchildren one week every summer, and spending lots of time with her ten grandchildren.
