9:00am-4:00pm – ITS Res Net Assistance Available from ITS Help Desk – Internet Connections

2:00pm-4:00pm – Cashier Window and Student Accounts Office Open – 2 nd Floor Armstrong Hall

(S+P) 4:00pm – Dean’s Welcome – Susan Ashley – Dean of the College – Followed by The Surprising Lives and Careers of CC Grads – Shove Chapel

(S+P) 5:30pm – Community Welcome Picnic – Worner Quad

(S+P) 6:30pm – Transfer Dessert Reception for Transfer Students and Families – Alumni Plaza (McHugh Commons as rain location)

(S+P) 6:30pm – First Generation Dessert Reception (for all who are one of the first in their families to attend a 4-year college) - Lennox/Glass House on the East Campus

10:00am-1:00pm – Gold Card Office Open

(S+P) 11:00am-Noon – Introduction to Spiritual Life at Colorado College – Multi-faith worship at 11:00am; information fair at 11:30am – Shove Chapel

(S+P) Noon – Campus Tour – Departs from Cutler Hall

(S) 1:00pm-3:00pm - Priddy Experience Introduction Meeting – Vice President for Student Life/Dean of Students Mike L. Edmonds and featured guest DJ Vanas – Armstrong Theatre

(P) 1:00pm-3:00pm – Parents Open Forum – Packard Hall -- Your individual questions answered by college staff

(S+P) 3:00-4:00pm – The Expectations of Colorado College (Parents – Packard Hall; Students – Armstrong Theatre)

(S+P) 4:15pm-5:45pm – Welcome to Colorado College from President Celeste – Followed by Keys to Success: Advice From Your Professors (Faculty panel) – Shove Chapel

1:30pm-3:00pm – Student Panel “How to Succeed at CC: What I Wish I Had Known”, Followed by “Introducing…The Class of 2011” – (Welcome Gift & Class Photo, with an opportunity to order your copy) – Armstrong Theater

3:30pm-5:00pm – FYE Mentor Meetings with Students – In FYE Classrooms

5:00pm – Dinner in Rastall Dining Hall

7:00pm – Priddy Experience Meeting - Armstrong Theatre

8:30pm – Queer Straight Alliance Ice Cream Social – Lennox House (Glass House)

9:00pm – Evening Entertainment – DJ and Smoothies (NSO Tent as rain location) – Lawn in Front of Loomis Hall

Tuesday, August 28

9:00am – Kristi Erdal Alcohol Presentation

10:00am – 11:30am – “He Said She Said” - Armstrong Theatre

11:30am – Lunch in Rastall Dining Hall

1:00pm-2:30pm – Capstone Address Event – Ishmael Beah – Armstrong Theatre

2:30pm-4:00pm - Small Group Discussions – Discussion of Capstone Address with members of your FYE class (Meeting location will be sent to your Worner Box)

4:00pm-6:00pm – Adviser Meetings – Adviser Offices (Worner Desk has adviser lists)

5:00pm – Dinner in Rastall Dining Hall

9:00pm – Evening Entertainment – Armstrong Quad - Outdoor Movie
