SUMMER SESSION

Why come to Colorado College this summer?

Summer Session offers exciting opportunities for Colorado College students, undergraduates from other colleges, high school students, teachers, and graduate students interested in education, as well as parents, alumni, friends, and students interested in specific programs in the performing arts. Tuition rates for study during the summer at Colorado College are exceptionally competitive (a summer course is approximately one-half the tuition charged during the regular year) and reflect our commitment to support a broad range of educational needs. Our class sizes remain small in the summer, often with a range of five to 20 students in each course.

Summer Session courses at Colorado College range from general chemistry, beginning fiction writing, and drawing on campus, to psychoanalysis in Chicago, Hemingway in Tanzania, Spanish language in Spain, social transformation in Brazil, and economics in Sweden. Our backyard is our classroom too; there is geology of the Pikes Peak area and ecological studies of the Rockies.

Summer at Colorado College provides a tantalizing array of activities to accompany academic studies. Whether one wants to listen to wonderful music during the Summer Festival of the Arts, climb Pikes Peak, explore hip hop or Brazilian dance, or just lie int the grass and think, the perfect complement to the summer academic program exists at Colorado College.
