CS 200 1320/ EN 280 1320 Classroom Assignment: Armstrong 231 This course exposes students to worlds inhabited by water spirits, the Dream Lord, post-apocalyptic survivors, Native American tricksters, and the time-traveling descendants of slaves. We'll consider the ways writers grounded in traditional belief systems — West African, Native American, and African American — push the boundaries of reality to create a fascinating new type of multicultural literature.
