Drama Away: Toronto, Montreal, Stratford Festival, and Shaw Festival

1 CC unit (4 semester hours). Fulfills one unit of humanities credit.

Toronto is one of the world's most diverse cities as well as the third-largest theater center in the world, after London and New York. Toronto's summer theater schedule includes approximately 40 productions that will be running concurrently during the period of the course, including comedy, Shakespeare, musicals, and mysteries. Students will have a variety of opportunities to attend some of the finest productions of Toronto's summer season. In addition to the theater performances, students will also attend an extensive series of special lectures, backstage visits, and meetings with casts and crew.

Program fee (in addition to tuition):$3,000 includes lodging, most meals, ground transportation, and course-related activities. Does not include airfare. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due upon enrolling in this course. Colorado College students are eligible to apply for Intercultural Funds.
Prerequisites: Consent of instructor (email medmonds@ColoradoCollege.edu). Enrollment is limited to 12 students.
