Cultural Context, Oral Expression, and Critical Analysis in Spain
May 22 - July 6
2 CC units (8 semester hours). Fulfills 2 units of humanities credit.

Advanced composition and conversation practice through the study of Spanish literary and cultural texts. The students also attend a Festival that occurs at the same time in Salamanca, Spain. It also continues the acquisition of the Spanish language and trains the students in the most important methods of critical analysis through readings in different genres.

Program fee (in addition to tuition):$4,500 includes roundtrip airfare to and from a major U.S. city to Madrid, lodging and home stays in Salamanca, most meals, course related activities, and transportation in Spain. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due upon enrolling for this course. Colorado College students may apply for intercultural Funds.
Prerequisites: Consent of instructor is required (e-mail kbizzarro@coloradocollege.edu). SP 201 or equivalent required.
