The Center for Service and Learning

The Center for Service & Learning was created to promote an ethic of service and to develop civic-minded leadership among all members of the college community. Our purpose is to recognize and understand the civic and social challenges of our world and to act with others in pursuit of a just society.

  • Last year students contributed 28,150 hours of service to our local, state and regional communities
  • The monetary value of these hours is $528,375.50

Currently students can:

  • Lead a weekend service trip during any of the weekends of a block.
  • Lead a BreakOut trip during any of the block breaks of the year.
  • Lead an already existing student service organization.
  • Develop and lead an entirely new student service organization.
