Geology

Geology is the study of the materials and processes that space the Earth and other extraterrestrial bodies. As an interdisciplinary subject, it overlaps with many disciplines, including chemistry, physics, biology, oceanography and atmospheric sciences. Sub-disciplines of geology include mineralogy, sedimentology, structural geology, paleontology and economic geology.
