Tuesday, April 30

8:30 am -- leave for San Luis

10:30 am -- meet with Devon Pena, executive director of La Sierra Foundation

1 pm -- meet with Joe Gallegos, SLV Rancher

2:30 pm -- meet with Theresa Vigil, SLV Rancher

other things to do in San Luis:

• meet with Maria Varela
• visit museum
• walk around town

Wednesday, May 1

9:30 am meet with Peggy Godfrey, rancher and cowgirl poet

2 pm meet with Lillian McCracken, co-owner of Green Earth Organic Farms

Thursday, May 2

10:00am -- Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge

1:30pm -- meet with Jenny Sanchez, director of La Frontera

Friday, May 3

10:00 -- Sand Dunes National Monument
