Government Documents at Colorado
College
Tutt Library has been a selective Federal Government Document Depository
since 1880. Over the years the library has maintained one of the best
historical collections of U.S. Government Documents in the surrounding
region, with some publications dating from 1774.
Government Documents include publications of all the branches and
agencies of the U.S. Federal Government in a variety of formats.
We also have a some Colorado State Publications; to view this collection
check the TIGER catalog.
Using Government Documents
- Anyone may use the materials received via the Federal Depository
Library Program. See for more details:
- Computer stations near the Reference Desk are designated for public
use. See a reference librarian to get logged- in. Please limited time
to 30 minutes when computer stations are in demand.
- Public users may print up to 5 pages for free; please pay 15 cents
per page thereafter at the Circulation Desk.
While most of the items in the collection are available to check out
according to the library Circulation
Policies, documents in the Enclosed Area, maps, periodicals,
and some reference materials do not check out.
- Older items, housed in the Documents Enclosed Area, need extra care.
These documents must be used in this area unless arrangements are
made with Documents or Reference staff to use elsewhere in the library
on nights and weekends.
