Cathleen Manly (Psychology '99)
Cassie was awarded First Honorable Mention for the Annual Prize for Psychological Research on Women and Gender by a Graduate or Undergraduate Student by the Association for Women in Psychology and
the American Psychological Association Division 35: Society for Women in Psychology.
(One winner and two Honorable Mentions awarded.)

Cassie received her award and presented her paper during an Invited Address at the 26th Annual Feminist Psychology Conference in Los Angeles March 8-11, 2001.

Her paper is entitled: "Protecting" the Feminine: The Effects of Menstruation on Attitudes Toward Women. Cassie conducted this research as her PY 451 Advanced Research Topic with the supervision of Tomi-Ann Roberts.
