Syllabus

 

 
 

You are expected to do the required reading, participate actively in class discussions, and respond to a series of questions related to the reading and discussions on the "electronic forum." In addition, you write an analytical essay (10 pages) exploring one aspect of an iissue central to the course. You discuss what you've discovered with others working on the same general topic and present a summary of the subject which builds on the particular studies of each person. An outline of the paper is due on Friday, December 10 and the final draft on Friday, December 17.
