Policy Decision Memo Assignment: Students
were required to write policy recommendations which drew upon the foundations
and theories learned in class and the issues
discussed during the field trip. The memo was encouraged to include specific
recommendations for making the region studied more sustainable, ultimately
requiring students to cope with the complex issues associated with Colorado
mountain growth.
