Peruse the Proquest articles found on the text web site for Chapter 5 that relate to elasticity. Many of them are quite technical. While it may be difficult to follow an article in all of its detail, you should be able to find some articles about which you can understand the gist. In particular, find one article that uses some elasticity measure to shed light on a public policy issue or debate. What elasticity measure (demand, supply, cross-price, etc.) does the article analyze? How does knowledge of this elasticity measure shed light on the public policy issue or debate? Has the analysis in this article affected your position on this issue (if you had one to begin with)? If so, how?
