This Course Notebook is intended to become a permanent comprehensive overview of this course. As a notebook, it both has no value (i.e. cannot be sold back as a used book) and much value in recording your intellectual exploration of the issues we study and you contemplate. As the instructor I hope that the process of collating the various materials from this course into your own personal notebook and thinking about what other items you might want to include will pull together this class as a "liberal learning" experience.
