In 2003, Krista traveled to the Beza Mahafaly Special Reserve in southern Madagascar as part of The Beza Mahafaly Lemur Biology Project. The goal of this project is to explore how human-induced habitat change impacts the health of ring-tailed lemurs (Lemur catta).
