Roman Sites This site has indexed, summarized and rated nearly 2,000 web sites that include information about Roman monuments.  A great place to begin research on Roman topics.  By Bill Thayer.
The Perseus Project This is a massive archive of Greek monuments.  It contains over 30,000 pictures.  One can search for words, sites, monuments.  It is particularly good for archaeological sites, coins, and pottery.   It also contains many ancient texts which can be searched by word.  An even more detailed version is on CD Roms in the Keck Lab.
