Cutler HallColorado College relies on the financial support of its alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff, friends, and corporations and foundations to sustain CC’s mission to provide the finest liberal arts education in the country.

During the 2003-2004 fiscal year, 15,534 donors contributed more than $9.6 million to CC – including $4.7 million to the Annual Fund. Every gift is important, and helps ensure that intellectual excitement, challenge, and excellence remain the defining features of a CC education.

On behalf of the Colorado College community, thank you for your continuing generosity, and for helping to further the qualities that make CC a remarkable and enduring institution.

Overall:

  • $4 million grant from the Inasmuch Foundation for the Cornerstone Arts Center
  • Over $2.6 million in confirmed bequests from donors who have included Colorado College in their wills
  • Over $1.7 million toward the Palmer Hall renovation
  • 47 members and over $225,000 for our new President’s Circle Fund

Annual Fund:

  • $4.7 million raised in Annual Fund; of that, $2.0 million in unrestricted funds — best Annual Fund unrestricted revenue level ever
  • 37 percent Annual Fund alumni participation; retained 72 percent of our alumni donors from last year
  • 40 percent overall alumni participation
  • 34 percent senior-class participation
  • Best parent Annual Fund giving levels ever
  • Engaged, ever-growing Parents Committee with regional parent representation throughout the country
  • Best giving levels ever generated through student calling (DIALogue Center)
