Kids Against Hunger

Saturday, May 12, 2007

10 a.m. – Noon

Twin Cities Area CC Alumni and Parents:

Please join us for a unique, rewarding and fun morning.
We will be volunteering for Kids Against Hunger, an international food relief campaign
aimed at eliminating world hunger and preventing children from starving.
Kids Against Hunger is part of Feeding Children International, a non-profit organization based in New Hope, MN.
We will be packaging food at the Kids Against Hunger - West Metro satellite location in beautiful Excelsior, MN.
The food will then be distributed to communities worldwide, where hunger and starvation is rampant.
This is a great opportunity to make a “hands-on” contribution to feeding starving children.
The packaging is easy and fun and all ages are welcome to participate, including children.

There are no paid staff members, and 100% of the money they raise goes right back into the food product.
As a result, Kids Against Hunger has a suggested donation of $10/person ($25/family) to help cover
the cost of the food. This is not required, but is simply a suggested donation.
