by Colorado College alumnus Capt. Charles E. “Chuck”
MacNab ’54, retired TWA Captain and Naval aviator who served
for a time as the pilot for King Saud Ibn Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia and
the Arabian American Oil Co. His personal experiences working in the Middle
East, as well as his continuing interest in and study of the region, give
him a unique perspective on the area’s people and politics. Capt.
MacNab’s insights are especially interesting in a year when what
happens in the Middle East makes the front page daily and plays a role
in the upcoming U.S. elections. Coffee and dessert will be served.
