Two
Colorado College courses will be offered in Chicago this summer.
Professor Miles White '92 will teach a block entitled,
African-American
Music.
This course will meet at Columbia College and explore the rich African-American
music culture of Chicago with class trips to hear jazz, blues, and
gospel. The dates for the course are June 2 – June 18,
2007.
Professors John
Riker and Marcia
Dobson will teach
Psychoanalysis
and Psychotherapy: Discovering the Unconscious.
The course will be based out of the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis
and cover psychoanalytic perspectives from Freud and Kohut to the
present. The dates for the course are June 25 – July
13, 2007.
Alumni, friends, undergraduates from other universities,
and qualified high school students are welcome to enroll.
