Special Events

Football:
CC lost to Occidental College, 22-39


Hockey:
The Tigers opened the season by losing to the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. CC lost to the Sioux 6-2, on Friday, then lost 2-0 on Saturday. 

Men's Soccer:
Colorado College defeated Hardin-Simmons University, 4-0, on Friday.  On Sunday, CC defeated Simpson College 4-1.


Volleyball:
 Junior middle hitter Sara Boyles was named Division III national player of the week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for her efforts in leading the Tigers to 4 victories and the team title at the Molten Spike it up! Colorado College Classic over Homecoming weekend. 








  • Being inducted into the Fifty Year Club during a special ceremony at Shove Chapel.

  • Dinner at the El Paso Club on Friday night.  We enjoyed some good food while reliving old times and mingling with our friends.
  • Seeing our class stone being unveiled at the new Jerome P. McHue Alumni Plaza on the Western Ridge.

  • Cheering on our CC Tigers, but unfortunately seeing them lose to Occidental College (score: 22-39) during the Homecoming Football Game on Saturday afternoon.

  • Dinner at the Colorado Springs Country Club on Saturday night.

  • Dancing the night away on campus to three different bands.  In Armstrong, we danced to the sounds of salsa band "Orquestra Sabrosa" while in Palmer we kicked up our heels to the swing band "Changing Times" and in the tent on Armstrong Quad, we rocked out to DJ Pascal Schunk '94. 

  • Brunch at the home of Dwight and Sue Brothers on Sunday morning.
