Watching the color of Pike’s Peak change over the course of the day.  Mamie swiping your Rastall card.  Llamapalooza.  Flex points.  Leaving campus by 12:01 on Wednesday when block break began.  Spending time out of class with your professors.  The memories are endless.  By now you've gotten a letter from us with some of the details of our upcoming 10-year Colorado College reunion.  We hope you're planning to attend – we're looking forward to seeing you all back on campus October 10 -12, 2008!

The Reunion Festivities kick-off Friday evening with a reception at Bemis Hall, followed by the CC hockey game at the World Arena.  On Saturday there is the tiger walk parade, alumni awards, and a multitude of other activities.  Saturday evening we have dinner at the Warehouse downtown followed by the fantastic Homecoming dance on campus.   So stop recycling your CC mailings and sign up!  Click here to view photos, a detailed schedule and list of who hopes to attend.

Our other goal, in addition to you attending the reunion,is to have our class give back to CC.

10 Bucks, 10 Years, 10 Minutes

Our Class of 1998 Challenge is to give $10 for every year we've been out—$100.  And, we're aiming for 30% participation from our class for a total of $16,980—a goal we can meet with your help.  To date, we're only at 7% with $5,334 so we have a long way to go.

Whether you give $199.80, $98.00, or $19.98, the key to giving is participation. Our reunion giving totals will be announced at Homecoming, so please make your gift by October—CC makes it easy! You can make a gift on your credit card by giving securely online or calling 1-800-782-6306, menu option 3.  You can mail in a check.  If you don’t want to give at one time, you can do an automatic withdrawal, for instance $5 or $10 a month. Check with your employer to see if it makes corporate matching gifts.

No matter whether your gift is large or small, the most important thing is reuniting as a class.  We’re really excited about what we know is going to be a fantastic weekend in October.  It'll be a chance to laugh about old times, create new memories, and find out what everyone’s been doing for 10 years!  See you soon!

Sincerely,

Class of '98 10th Reunion Committee
