Can you believe it's time for our 35th reunion?! We are five years older and Colorado College is still going strong. The classes of '73 and '74 are gearing up for a terrific Homecoming weekend together, October 10 -12! The reunion committee has planned great activities, including dinners at Phantom Canyon on Friday night and Benji's on Saturday night. You won't want to miss the dedication of the new $32 million Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center. Not only will we be able to walk through this magnificent structure, there will be several performances by Project Bandaloop with dancers on the outside walls of the building, suspended from the roof! We will also have our traditional homecoming activities including sporting events, the homecoming dance, tiger walk parade of classes and more. Favorite faculty will join us on Saturday night. It's time to be TOGETHER again, review the past and share our experience, our memories, and our stories. Please visit our website to view photos, a detailed schedule and a list of who hopes to attend.
Did we have a true concept of critical thinking when we graduated from high school? Well, we did after our CC experience and these skills have undoubtedly proven invaluable. Over time, we've come to understand more fully the concept of value returned. We are the value. Now it's time for return. Believe it or not, someone you know was able to attend Colorado College only because of others' giving. Our classes have set a goal of 40% giving commitment in honor of this reunion, because the participation rate of alumni giving is equally as important as the amount you give. Your contribution, whether large or small, will continue to provide the "CC experience" for current and future students. Please take a moment to make a gift online or call us at 800-782-6306.
The 35th reunion committee would like to challenge anyone who hasn't contributed in the past three years to give a gift of $35 or more in honor of our 35th reunion. Any contribution of $35 or more will be matched with a $10 gift to the college by the reunion committee! Your gift, whether large or small, will continue to provide the "CC experience" for current and future students. Click here to give online.
There are eight other reunions going on at the same time and we want our '73 and '74 classes to be at the top, in both attendance and giving commitment! We look forward to seeing you in October.
Sincerely,
Your 35th Reunion Committee
