Dear '58 Classmates,
You know what this letter is about and what it feels like living "the life" 50 years after graduation. With those two pieces of knowledge I present a challenge for you to focus on for the next few months.
It is our time as the 50th reunion invitation letter stated. Time
to not only celebrate this wonderful milestone, but to set aside whatever you can during these next few months -- or make one swipe of the pen or credit card and give now! Our 50th Reunion committee has set a very ambitious goal of 55% giving participation from our class. We know we can do it.
Keep in mind our class participation motto "It isn't necessarily the dollar amount but the participation from every member of our class whether present or absent." Thank you for your willingness to give and be part of fulfilling our 55% goal!
October will be our time to turn our thoughts to renewing old memories and friendships that have lasted long into "the life".
Our reunion events begin on Thursday, October 9th. We have meals scheduled in Bemis Hall, the Tutt Alumni House, and an exciting time in our own club room at the World Arena, watching the CC Tiger hockey team take on the University of Alabama-Huntsville! We want to highlight our induction into the 50Year Club on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Shove Chapel. This is a special occasion, with classmate Bill Hay delivering our keynote address, "Back in the Day."
Please complete your 50th biographic form for our class reunion directory. Thank you if you have already done this.
We look forward to seeing many of you as we celebrate this special milestone at Colorado College. Please take a look at the classmates hoping to attend our reunion and call the Alumni Office at 800-852-6519 to add your name to the list!
