Dear Fellow '96ers:

ARE WE REALLY IN OUR 30s? Remember that show 30-Something? That dude Elliot had a frickin’ beard and a BMW…we’re not that old, right? So it’s been a decade since we tossed our graduation caps and launched out into the brave new world (or back into our parent’s basements, at least).

Hopefully by now, we all have moved on from unpaid internships and have a little cash set aside to come back to CC for our…CLASS OF 1996 TEN YEAR REUNION.

If not, start saving now and quick. Please plan on joining us the weekend of OCTOBER 6 – 8, 2006. Festivities kick-off Friday afternoon and go through Sunday. Families are welcome and childcare will be available. Details to follow (so stop throwing away those CC mailings for the next couple of months).

Friday, October 6

7 p.m. - Reunion Party at Jose Muldoon's, 222 North Tejon Street

Saturday, October 7

10 a.m. - Class Stone Ceremony on the Alumni Plaza followed by the Tiger Walk Parade of Classes

11 a.m. - Alumni Association Board and Reunion Cup Awards Ceremony

Noon - All-campus picnic on Armstrong Quad

1-4 p.m. - Class Photo, west of Cutler Hall

3-4 p.m. - Alumni Open Hockey, Honnen Ice Rink. Skate rental and some equipment provided

7 p.m. - Reunion Dinner in McHugh Commons - Professors invited

9:30 p.m. - Homecoming Dance in Gates Common Room (Palmer Hall), Armstrong and Armstrong Quad

Sunday, October 8

9 - 11 a.m. - Farewell Brunch, Bemis Great Hall

11 a.m. -12 p.m. - Homecoming Memorial Celebration, Shove Chapel
An interfaith service of remembrance of Colorado College classmates, faculty and staff who have passed away. A reception in the side chapel follows. Bring photographs and mementos for display as we share our memories at this renewed Homecoming tradition
