CC lost to Claremont College,

Hockey:
The Tigers opened the season by beating University
of Massachusetts-Lowell, 6-4 Friday night then lost to UMASS-Lowell
1-4, on Saturday.
Women's
Soccer:
The Tigers are 5-6-1 for the season after Friday’s
3-1 victory over Northern Arizona University.
Men's
Soccer:
Colorado College lost to CU at Colorado Springs, 2-1, on
Saturday, Oct 12, bringing their record to
9-4-0.
Volleyball
The CC spikers won their second consecutive tournament championship
during Homecoming Weekend. The Tigers swept all four opponents
without losing a game at their annual Molten Spike It Up!
Classic at Reid Gymnasium, defeating Ohio Wesleyan University
and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday, then dominating Benedictine
University and Edgewood College on Saturday. Freshman setter
Elise Hiza (Rocky Ford, CO) was named tourney MVP after
collecting 153 assists, including 47 against second-place
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, in the round-robin competition.
Senior middle blocker Sarah Boyles (Colorado Springs, CO)
and senior Christie Smirnoff (Darien, CT) also earned all-tournament
honors.

- Lively discussion group on "Toward Universal Empire,"
which was led by faculty from the political science department
on the U.S. role in a post 9/11 world.
- Everyone marvelled at the enormous talent of Dave Burnett
whose 35 year retrospective show, "Measures in Time,"
packed em in all weekend. You can still order a catalogue

- The Memorial Bar Tour! Only host a few to bars along
the way.

Renewing friendships while enjoying a dinner at Tutt
Alumni House. Faculty joining us were Ruth Barton, Ken
Burton, Dick Hilt, Don Jenkins and Donald Shearn.

Seeing our class stones unveiled at the Jerome P. McHugh
Alumni Plaza on the Western Ridge. "Can't Get No
Satisfaction" ('67) and "Light My Fire"
with a peace sign ('68) will forever mark our classes.

Marching behind our Class Banner in the Tiger Walk
parade.

Dinner at the Cliff House on Saturday night.

Dancing the night away on campus to three different
bands. In Armstrong, we danced to the sounds of
salsa band "Orquestra Sabrosa" while in Palmer
it was the swing band "Changing Times" and
in the tent on Armstrong Quad, we rocked out to DJ Pascal
Schunk '94.

Saying our farewells amid the gorgeous scenery of the
Garden of the Gods Club on Sunday morning.
- Heading back to campus for the inaguration of our new
president, Richard F. Celeste and listening to Bro Adams
speak on behalf of of Liberal Arts Colleges.
