CC lost to Claremont College,
42-21
Hockey:
The Tigers opened the season by beating University
of Massachusetts-Lowell, 6-4 Friday night then lost to UMASS-Lowell
1-4, on Saturday.
Women's
Soccer:
The Tigers are 5-6-1 for the season after Friday’s
3-1 victory over Northern Arizona University.
Men's
Soccer:
Colorado College lost to CU at Colorado Springs, 2-1, on
Saturday, Oct 12, bringing their record to
9-4-0.
Volleyball
The CC spikers won their second consecutive tournament championship
during Homecoming Weekend. The Tigers swept all four opponents
without losing a game at their annual Molten Spike It Up!
Classic at Reid Gymnasium, defeating Ohio Wesleyan University
and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday, then dominating Benedictine
University and Edgewood College on Saturday. Freshman setter
Elise Hiza (Rocky Ford, CO) was named tourney MVP after
collecting 153 assists, including 47 against second-place
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, in the round-robin competition.
Senior middle blocker Sarah Boyles (Colorado Springs, CO)
and senior Christie Smirnoff (Darien, CT) also earned all-tournament
honors.

Being inducted into the Fifty Year Club during a special
ceremony at Shove Chapel.

Dinner in the Wigand Room at the World Arena Friday
night. We enjoyed some good food while reliving
old times and watching an exciting game of hockey -
the Tigers won in OT.

Seeing our class stone unveiled at the Jerome P. McHugh
Alumni Plaza on the Western Ridge. "Tigers Forever"
with a tiger paw will forever mark our class.

Marching behind our Class Banner in the Tiger Walk
parade.

Dinner at the Colorado Springs Country Club on Saturday
night. There were some great speeches, and even singing!

Dancing the night away on campus to three different
bands. In Armstrong, we danced to the sounds of
salsa band "Orquestra Sabrosa" while in Palmer
we kicked up our heels to the swing band "Changing
Times" and in the tent on Armstrong Quad, we rocked
out to DJ Pascal Schunk '94.
