Helped clean the Santa Monica Beach for Heal the Bay.
Memphis - Lichterman Nature Center
Helped restock plants left from plant sale and other grounds maintenance.
New York - NY Cares Spring Clean-Up Day
Joined 3,500 volunteers at 40 parks and community gardens throughout New
York City to plant flowers and shrubs, rake leaves, paint benches, mulch,
weed and clear litter.
Phoenix - Arizona Veteran Home 50th Anniversary

Provided assistance and supported veterans in the Home.
Portland - Salvation Army West Women's and
Children's Shelter
Participated in general spring cleaning activities.
San Francisco - Vida Verde Nature Education
Light trail maintenance, building small flats for our vegetable seedlings,
or gardening. After lunch, Vida Verde offered everyone a chance to participate
in the goat milking/cheese making program.
Seattle - Seattle Works Day
Volunteers' minimum $25 pledge and corporate sponsorship raised critical
funds that support the year-round programs, while making a tremendous
impact on the community.
St. Paul/Minneapolis - Brian Coyle Community
Center
Helped the center catch up on some projects including organizing the library,
painting and other odds and ends.
Washington D.C. - Anacostia River Shore Cleanup
Helped with a trash clean-up along the shores of the Anacostia River.
