Before the fair:
1. Review materials for your table. Check out the CC website and see what's new.
2.
Arrive early! Parking can be tricky. If the fair organizer included directions about where to park or what to bring, they will be enclosed in your packetl.
3.
Dress is business or business casual. CC polo shirts are great!
At the fair:
1. Stay behind your table and do not call students over to you.
2.
Distribute tri-fold “road pieces” and ask students to complete inquiry cards. If you run out of materials, you may distribute the “table copy” items.
3.
Don’t make up facts! If you don’t know, encourage students to visit our website and write their question on the back of the inquiry card. An intern will email the answer to them and copy you.
After the fair:
1. Offer to give the school any leftover materials.
2.
Complete the quick fair evaluation form.
3.
Mail the table cloth, nametag, fair evaluation and completed inquiry cards back to CC using the envelope enclosed. You do not need to return other excess materials. You may keep the CC tote as a gift, or return it for use by future volunteers.
