Grads Sitting in Armstrong Quad
Colorado College celebrated its 119th commencement on May 22, under a cloudless sky on Armstrong quad.  United States Congresswoman and 1979 alumna Diana DeGette addressed the class of 2000.  See a full transcript of her remarks.

Doug Fox, professor emeritus of religion, gave the traditional baccalaureate address on May 21 -- read a transcript of Fox's remarks.

President Kathryn Mohrman conferred degrees upon 577 excited graduates in the college's traditional Z-A order.  "Welcome to the company of educated men and women," she said.

Senior speaker Andy Vogt urged his classmates, "Do not take the gift of CC for granted, keep its spirit alive in the larger contexts of your actions in the future, and never stop caring."  Read his remarks and check out a recent Gazette article featuring Vogt.  Find out about other outstanding seniors.  See a Gazette feature on a non-traditional graduate.
