During the academic years 2005-2007, the CC community will be observing the 35th anniversary of the unique Colorado College Plan -- and its most well-known component, the Block Plan. Special events are being planned including an academic symposium – watch this page for details and updates.

Homecoming 2005
Alumni and faculty who were deeply involved in the early years of the Colorado College Plan were on campus to talk about that time – how we could build on something that was already very good by inventing a new way to teach and learn. Colorado College Debate Team took on Berkeley – "Resolved: That the Semester System is superior to the Colorado College Block Plan". November 1, 2005.
Celebratory events throughout the year, including a 70’s Dance and much more.
Oral Histories
Additions to the college’s oral history records with histories taken from many who helped create and develop the plan.
Assessment/re-invigoration of The Colorado College Plan
Faculty will investigate most effective teaching/planning techniques, launch further experimentation, opportunities outside of block classes.
